Almost everyone has seen (or at least heard of) the iconic title from Bethesda called Skyrim. The game is easily one of the most recognizable names in the open-world gaming industry. But, for more casual players, the game is not exactly a standalone thing. It is actually part of one of the longest-running gaming titles known to gamers: The Elder Scrolls. Skyrim, however, is definitely deserving of its lofty status among studios and fans alike.
The game is set on the northern edge of the mythical kingdom of Tamriel, Skyrim. You play as a Dovahkiin or “Dragonborn”, a warrior with the unique ability to not just fight dragons, but also absorb their powers and souls. Seek out dragons, monsters, and other mythical beasts. Do side missions for human (and non-human) NPCs. Or stick to the main mission of ridding the province of Skyrim of dragons.

Fallout 4 Game:-
Another giant of a game from Bethesda is Fallout4, a continuation of the fan-favorite Fallout franchise. However, Bethesda managed to take an already popular title to global fame and recognition with its Fallout4 addition. Since its release in 2015, Fallout4 has permanently raised the bar for expectations from the RPG-open world genre. The sheer scale of the map, the plethora of main missions and side quests, weapons, crafting, and much more have created a new precedent for the gaming world.
Fallout4 is set in a post-apocalyptic world, ostensibly caused by a nuclear war sometime in the 1940s. However, the game picks up several centuries after the event. It’s a harsh, cruel, and sometimes radioactive world. Ally with factions, build a settlement, and defend yourself from threats (both human, animal, and even mutant!). Fallout4 is an outstanding example of a themed RPG open-world game done right.

No Mans Sky Game:-
Forget about open worlds. What if the whole universe was open to you? No Mans Sky has been one of the most hyped games in recent years. And, other than some initial launch problems, the game has proven surprisingly capable at adding another level to “open-world” gaming. The game’s claim to fame is not the space theme, the stunning graphics, or even the regular space-travel adventure trope. Instead, No Mans Sky has a “map” that includes billions of unique solar systems, planets, and stars. Players are free to explore anywhere they choose. The sheer size of the map is staggering. Each world is explorable and contains a unique mix of flora, fauna, and terrain. And there are billions of them! If you meet someone claiming to have explored 100% of the sandbox, you may want to ask for proof.

Ark: Survival Evolved Game:-
Dinosaurs. Crafting. Survival. Ark: Survival Evolved is not just about a massive open-world map to play in. The elements involved are even more striking. You play as a human that appears to have crashed on a jungle island, populated with prehistoric beasts ranging from the T-Rex to a lethal ancestor of the modern tortoise.
Moreover, the crafting ability allows you to not just interact with your environment, but build things from it as well. There are also other live players on the same map, adding a welcome MMORPG element. Play with friends, join a faction, or build your own tribe. Evolve further as you discover new technology and build the most dominant faction on the map. And have fun riding a T-Rex while you do.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Game:-
Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is the third part of what is known as the Ezio trilogy in the franchise. The Assassin’s Creed franchise took the world by storm. A large part of this popularity came not just from the huge open-world map, but also from the free-running mode. Free-running looks a lot like parkour to many observers, but it makes for exciting gameplay when you’re in stealth mode or looking to drop down on an unsuspecting victim.
Of course, all of this is present in nearly every game associated with the main franchise. What singles out Revelation? Well, the game is the last one in which fan-favorite Ezio Auditore makes his final appearance. If you’re a long-term fan, you may already know the Ezio in Revelations is older, grizzled, but still just as deadly. But he’s also on a mission to find answers to certain questions that first appeared in the original Assassin’s Creed with Al-Tair Ibn Al Ahad as the main character.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game:-
Netflix subscribers may be familiar with the platform's most recent success, Witcher starring Henry Cavill (of Man of Steel fame) as the titular character, Geralt of Rivia. What fewer people initially realized was that the show was actually based on an already popular game franchise of the same name. The game itself was based on The Witcher fantasy book series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. And for anyone who is a fan, the third part known as The Wild Hunt is by far the best of 3 excellent games.
Geralt of Rivia is a monster hunter in a world where something mutated, magical, or deadly could be waiting just around the corner. Obviously, a normal human being would do very poorly against some of the scarier monsters on the huge open-world map. However, Geralt, like all witchers, is an enhanced human. Or rather, was one of the last to receive the mutagens that turn a select few people into mutants with enhanced abilities. Their purpose? To hunt down evil in an evil world, for a reasonable fee, of course! The franchise and especially its third installment make it very difficult for gamers to name a better open-world RPG.
